Pre-Purchase  Condition and Valuation Survey
Know  before you buy.  This information will provide you with peace of mind  that your money is well spent, or give you leverage to negotiate a  better price.  For sellers, if your boat is a cream puff, our unbiased  report will back you up.  This is the most comprehensive type of  inspection, and is strongly advised when purchasing a new or used  vessel. Condition and overall operation of the vessel are examined. This  covers USCG regulations, ABYC standards compliance, structural  integrity, electrical systems, the propulsion system, the fuel system,  other machinery, navigation equipment, miscellaneous on-board systems,  cosmetic appearance, electronics, and overall maintenance as well as an  out-of-water inspection and a sea trial.  We search the United States  Coast Guard recalls database to be sure there are no outstanding recalls  in  place for the model and year of vessel.  A formal written report is  provided.

Cargo Surveys
Pre- shipment Surveys:  We will inspect cargo prior to loading, during  loading and on completion of loading to ensure that the condition of the  cargo is to the satisfaction of the shipper and / or receiver. This  ensures that the cargo is being handled and stowed in a safe and  satisfactory manner.
Out - Turn Surveys:  On arrival at the discharge  port we inspect cargoes in stow, prior to the commencement of the  discharge, recording any damages to your cargo which may have occurred  during the sea passage to the discharge port.  We will inspect for the  presence of chlorides and for any apparent shifting of cargo in stow.   During the discharge and on completion of the discharge we inspect  consignments for damage and determine whether the damage found occurred  during loading, in stow during the voyage or during discharge operations  as a result of mishandling by the stevedore.

Insurance Survey
This  inspection is performed so that the insurance company can determine  whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. They are interested in  structural integrity and safety for its intended use. Most insurance  companies require a survey on older boats. They will also want to know  the vessel's fair market value.

Appraisal Inspection
This  inspection is performed to gather enough information to justify or  determine the fair market value of the vessel. This is normally needed  for financing, estate settlements, donations and legal cases.  The  primary sources of information are gathered from the BUCValu Pro and  Soldboats.com as well as other sources as required.

Damage Inspection
This  is performed to assess the extent of damage, recommend repairs,  estimate repair cost, and if requested, possible cause.  We have great  relations with local repair shops and can help insure the job is done  right at a fair price.
